Certain water problems require advanced treatment solutions. Such as Culligan reverse osmosis technology.
Reverse osmosis systems treat and reduce harmful contaminants found in drinking water. But unlike traditional systems, the ClearLink PRO™ button can be installed without drilling. Or adding more faucets.
So what exactly is the ClearLink Pro™?
Culligan's ClearLink PRO™ is the first-to-market wireless water accessory. And it's available to both homeowners and renters.

How do you operate a ClearLink PRO™?
To use the ClearLink PRO™, simply turn on cold water. And then push its button. In a few seconds, filtered water will run through the main faucet.
When the water turns off, your system will automatically switch back to unfiltered water. This helps you avoid wasting filtered water on things like hand washing and dish washing.
How does reverse osmosis come into play?
The ClearLink PRO ™ wireless drinking water accessory provides water treated by reverse osmosis. And reverse osmosis reduces the number of contaminants found in your water.
Whether the drinking water in your home comes from a well or municipal supply, it's possible that harmful contaminants are present.
What is osmosis?
Osmosis is the passage of a solvent, such as water, from a lower-concentration solution to a higher-concentration solution. A semipermeable membrane separating the two solutions allows the solvent to pass. But not what is dissolved in it.
The flow finally stops when both solutions become equal in concentration. This process is classified as passive transport. Because it does not require energy to be applied.
Then what is reverse osmosis?
Unlike osmosis, reverse osmosis requires an external force to complete the transport. Therefore, pressure is a key part of the reverse osmosis process.
And like its name implies, reverse osmosis is the opposite of osmosis. Instead of balancing out the two solutions, it uses the external force of pressure to reverse the natural flow.
Since contaminant molecules are larger than water molecules, only water is pushed through the semipermeable membrane.
How does reverse osmosis compare to other filtration methods?
So now that we know about the reverse osmosis process, it's worth looking at how it stacks up to other filtration methods.
Other popular filter options include refrigerator filters, faucet filters and pitcher filters. While all can help you with taste and smell, few will reduce the most dangerous and invisible contaminants.
However, a reverse osmosis system can efficiently remove contaminants that others may miss.
Plus, many refrigerator, faucet and pitcher filters require frequent maintenance for maximum performance. Reverse osmosis units do not.
Reverse osmosis takes care of your filtration needs consistently, for a number of years. And it does this without compromising on the taste and quality of your water.
